ST JOHN'S AND HIGH STREET ROAD UNITING CHURCHES UNITE AS ONE CONGREGATION
St John's and High Street Road Uniting Churches have been worshipping together, both face-to-face as COVID-19 restrictions permit and through pre-recorded online services. Our committees are working as one, each with representatives from both sites and our outreach to the community and those in need has been strengthened by our collaboration. The two churches officially began as One Congregation on 1 January 2021, with our service of inauguration on 7 February 2021.
As COVID-19 restrictions allow, we have commenced Covid Safe face-to-face worship each Sunday, alternating between St John's and High Street Road worship centres.
WHAT WILL OUR WORSHIP LOOK LIKE IN A COVID SAFE ENVIRONMENT?
For details on the changes to be incorporated into our worship, please visit the High Street Road website

Kids Hope Aus
Kids Hope Aus is a ministry aimed at creating a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable Australian children and their families. It is a mentoring program built on a long-term partnership between local churches and primary schools, where a caring adult from the church spends one hour each week with a child. St. John's and Park Lane Primary School have established just such a partnership and ten members of the church meet with the children each week.

Please support UNITING
What we do...
Uniting is the community services organisation of the Uniting Church in Victoria and Tasmania. We work to inspire people, enliven communities and confront injustice.
Your gift will go towards emergency relief such as:
- Food - bread, hot meals, non-perishable items, grocery or meal vouchers. So homeless families know they won't go hungry.
- Clothing - clothing and bedding is always urgently needed.
- Medical help - the doctors' visits and medicines that the homeless can't afford. So illnesses don't have to go undiagnosed and untreated.
- Crisis housing - putting roofs over the heads of the homeless through temporary shelter. They can then get help to find long-term affordable rental or public housing.
Donations will continue to support people who are most in need and the programs that are close to your heart. Uniting will continue delivering over 700 programs to our communities across Victoria and Tasmania.
If you wish to make a donation via St. John's to any of these appeals, please place an envelope, with your name, in the offering plate.
